Matt Von Holtz - DJ & Producer

Matt von Holtz is currently producing what will be his first original studio album. Three of these new songs are now available and are already being heard in some of LondonÕs best clubs.

DJ and Producer Matt von Holtz came onto the electronic music scene. in 1992 where he ventured from house parties to clubs. Some of his earliest sets were playing with the likes of South Beach's very own David Padilla and Edgar V. At this time MvH was also openning for acts such as NYC's Johnny Vicious and Eddy Biaz, two djÕs that heavily influenced the energy that Matt would eventually bring to the decks.

Over the years MvH has played sets including heavy pounding hard trance, to the groove of funky house. Currently he has returned to his roots of progressive house, with an influence of now neo trance and deep minimal. MvH is renowned for spinning some of the most balanced sets, never leaving a dull moment from the time the first tune plays untill the lights come on.

In 1998 Matt was a resident at one of South BeachÕs premier nightclubs Òthe G-SpotÓ. Not wanting to loose touch with his dj roots, MvH also kept his residencies at three other Ft Lauderdale clubs to cater to his local fan base. By the year 2000 MvH was spinning regularly at various clubs in South Beach, and his signature club sets had already defined him as a rising star. However, his desire to play in Europe lingered and he made the move London.

Since his arrival in London, Matt has graced the decks of some of London's Legendary nightclubs and promotions for: The Cross, Koko (formerly Camden Palace) Scala, Heaven, Turnmills, Mass, Fridge, HeatUK, PUSH, Together, Passion, Lock'n'Load, Space 24, Insekt, and Ibizan Heat. Most recently "the Gallery" at Ministry openning for Markus Schulz, and Bedrock, the official after party for London's notorious outdoor music festival South West Four sees Matt von Holtz heating up the decks for none other than John Digweed and Paolo Mojo.
